GIS partners with EWEF
It all started with a simple Instagram message, several defining conversations, much prayer and fasting and a global partnership between the Girls Identity Summit (GIS) and the Erudite Womens’ Empowerment Foundation (EWEF) was forged in 2019.
EWEF is a registered and an award- winning grassroots nongovernmental Ghanaian organization, striving to narrow gender gaps and create opportunity and prosperity to empower women and girls in rural Ghana since 2017.

We exist to create a better world of opportunities for women and girls in rural Ghana to thrive. We do this by: Providing educational and skills development...

EWEF will be the lead host for a powerful one day event that seeks to empower, educate and inspire adolescent girls between the ages of 12 to 18 years old to help them acknowledge the challenging processes of change and growth, which every young woman experiences in unique ways in their bid to reach their goals.

The Summit is open to girls of all backgrounds and ethnicities within the Asante Akyem sub-region because we have found that there is also something to be learned from each other's differences. The Summit will bring together the most relatable and authentic speakers, session and entertainment in order for our girls to find the need to appreciate their roots and celebrate their identities!
